Aftermarket deuterium lamp for Selekt detectors. On a flash system a failing lamp costs you material rather than just signal, because the detector is what triggers fraction collection. A weak baseline means peaks that never reach the collection threshold, and product that goes to waste while the run looks like it worked. That is a more expensive failure than a noisy analytical baseline, and it is easy to mistake for a threshold that needs adjusting. If collection has started missing peaks you know are there, check the lamp energy before you touch the threshold.

Lamp for RF75 series

Aftermarket lamp for the RF75 series. Flash detectors are normally run at one fixed wavelength chosen for the compound class rather than scanned, and that hides lamp ageing: if you always watch 254 nm you will not notice deep UV output falling until a compound that only absorbs near 210 nm goes undetected entirely. On a purification run that means lost material, not a lost data point. Worth running the energy test on a schedule rather than waiting for a symptom to appear.

Deuterium lamp for Interchim detectors, cross-referenced to SD1191-01J. These sit on flash purification systems, so the lamp is on for the whole collection run rather than for a few minutes per injection and hours accumulate much faster than the number of purifications suggests. On a flash system a weak lamp costs material rather than data: the detector triggers fraction collection, so peaks that fail to reach the threshold go to waste while the run appears to have worked.

Deuterium lamp for Waters 2489 and 2998 detectors

Aftermarket deuterium lamp for the Waters 2489 and 2998, cross-referenced to 201000281. The 2489 runs at set wavelengths and the 2998 reads the full spectrum, and the same lamp serves both. On either detector, deuterium output falls fastest in the deep UV, so a method running at 210 nm loses sensitivity long before one running at 254 nm does. This detector expects a lamp carrying an RFID tag. The chip is listed in the specification above, and it is worth confirming before you order, because a chipless lamp can be refused by the instrument.
